October 1, 2010 is the day in history on which I had both my stupidest and my most brilliant idea ever. They happen to be the same thing.

I don't get people. Numbers and facts are nice and simple. But you have to make a leap of faith with people in order to have any sort of relationship, in order to trust that they're saying what they mean and not laughing at you in their heads.

Buy me expensive things and I will laugh at you. Take me out for a round of sushi and I will, at the very least, marginally like you, and at the very most, I will love you forever.
